If you’ve never experienced chiropractic care before, then you may not know what to expect when you first visit our Wasilla chiropractic clinic. From filling out paperwork to learning new faces and understanding your treatment, we understand that it can be an overwhelming experience.

At Larson Chiropractic, our team is dedicated to making your first visit and every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Below are some important patient resources to help you prepare for your next appointment.

Your First Visit

The following is a general outline of what you can expect during your first visit to our office. Please be sure to bring your completed patient forms as well as a copy of your ID and insurance card if that’s how you’ll be paying.

Consultation

You will meet with one of our chiropractors to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This allows us to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations.

Examination

Following your consultation, one of our doctors will perform a complete chiropractic examination to test your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well, all with your consent.

Depending on your condition, we may also take x-rays to develop the most effective treatment plan for you and screen for any serious spinal conditions.

Report of Findings

Once all necessary examinations are performed, the chiropractor will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions you may have. The chiropractor will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers.

Treatment

At the end of this initial appointment, you can choose to experience your first treatment, which may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and/or soft tissue massage. Treatment is interactive so that you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment at any time.

Wellness Program

Before you leave, the doctor will suggest a wellness program to incorporate outside of treatment. If you are in pain when you first visit our office, this may include ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches.

If you are interested, our wellness team can also work with you to create healthy habits and routines for your lifestyle.

Payment Options

At Larson Chiropractic, we offer several payment options to ensure that you can get the chiropractic care you need, no matter what your budget.

Insurance

We are a preferred provider for Premera Blue Cross and the Public Education Health Trust administered by EBMS. We also accept most health insurance plans, including Medicare and VA patients, with proper authorization. Please contact your carrier to find out if your plan covers care in our office.

Additionally, we accept auto accident, in-state workers compensation, and personal injury cases that have resulted in back pain, neck pain, headaches, or other related pain conditions.

No Insurance

Even without insurance, there are still ways to receive the pain relief and chiropractic care you need. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, we can work with you to arrange a flexible payment program that fits your budget.
